Canterbury Hedges & Tree Services (trading name, operated by Richard Lim, Canterbury CT1) takes data seriously. This page is the short version.

What we collect

• If you contact us (email, phone, WhatsApp, form): your name, contact details, postcode, and whatever you tell us about the hedge. We use this to quote and deliver the job.
• If you visit the site: we count visits with our own counting tool, which sets no cookies. See Website statistics below.

What we don't do

• We don't share your information with third parties for marketing.
• We don't add you to any mailing list without you asking.
• We keep a record of enquiries, chats and our dealings with you. If you would like your own record deleted, contact us at hello@canterburyhedges.co.uk and we will do it.

Form submissions

The contact form is processed by Formspree, which forwards the message to our hello@ inbox. Formspree's own privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy/.

Website statistics

We count visits to this site, for statistics only, using our own counting tool. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address. For each page view it records the page, the site you came from, any campaign label in the link you used, your country (approximate) and whether the visitor looks like a person or a robot. To count unique visitors it uses an identifier. We do not share this data with anyone except our hosting provider, which stores it on our behalf. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If you click 'Don't count my visits' in the footer, we remember your choice in this browser with one small local-storage flag called na_ignore; our counter stores nothing else in your browser. You can object at any time using the link in the footer, or contact us at hello@canterburyhedges.co.uk. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our site.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to: confirm what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop processing it. Email hello@canterburyhedges.co.uk for any of those.
